If you are a client of Cathy S. Compton, we want to stay in touch with you! We provide easy access to case information, updates, calendaring of events, texting, chatting, and messaging via the MyCase Client Portal. 

How do you sign up for the Client Portal? It's easy! All you need to do is send us an email with your contact information, the county your case is in and a good working phone number. 

Within 48 hours, you will receive an email with instructions on how to create your MyCase account.

Most of the courts and our office use Zoom for virtual meetings. You can download Zoom for your mobile devices, tablet, or computer.

WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR APPOINTMENT:

  • Any documents related to your case

  • Court paperwork if you have it

  • Names and contact info for anyone involved in your case

  • Sometimes it is helpful to make a list of questions ahead of time so you don't forget to ask something that is important to you

  • Something to write with so you can take notes

  • If you cannot make the appointment or something changes, please let us know

Always keep in mind that Zoom court is STILL court. Find a quiet place where you can hear and be heard. Dress appropriately. Do not smoke, drink, drive or anything else while in Zoom hearing. If you have questions about Zoom or want to practice to make sure you are comfortable before the actual court hearing, we are happy to do that with you.
